Prism Lotus is a beautiful plied yarn that endures a double dyeing process. In the first step the protein-based woolen and silk plies are dyed, but the cellulose-based bamboo fiber remains white. Next the yarn is submerged in another dye which is accepted by the bamboo fibers. In each process, the silk takes a bit of the dye. The resulting product is truly lovely with rich, dynamic color.
